About

Kellie Delaney

Florida-native visual artist Kellie Delaney creates story-rich portraits inspired by fantasy, folklore, mythology, and her favorite books and films. She approaches each piece as a glimpse into a larger narrative, using expressive characters, luminous color, and glowing light to give imagined worlds form.

A former pastry chef, Kellie traded cakes for the studio and now creates from a lifelong love of mythical stories. When she isn’t making art, she can usually be found drinking copious amounts of tea with her husband and daughter—or dreaming up the next world she wants to bring to life.
